Welcome to the 2015-16 school year. I begin each day teaching 7th grade Language Arts, and then I leave to teach five more classes at the high school. I am really enjoying working with 7th grade students and helping to prepare them for higher level English classes.
This is my 19th year of teaching and my third year teaching for the Menomonee Falls School District. I have also taught as an adjunct professor for Cardinal Stritch, Alverno College, and Concordia University. I'm looking forward to helping students develop the essential reading, writing, speaking and listening skills that will help them to become successful members of society.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Mt. Mary College with a major in Secondary and English Education. My Master's Degree, also from Mt. Mary College, is in Curriculum and Instruction with a certificate in literature. In 2003 I received National Board Certification, and I re-certified in 2013. This past summer I was certified in AP Literature.
